Project goals: Implementation of the long-term program for development of tourism is intended to make tourism a key economic sector in Pskov Oblast.
Stages of project:
1. Analysis of the situation in the sector of cultural and educational tourism.
- Analysis of the situation in the Pskov Oblast tourism and leisure sector , including infrastructure provision and drawing up the list of infrastructures necessary for development of the sector.
- Preparation of the target-oriented scheme of the cluster, identification of indicators and list of events for development of the cluster.
- Drawing up the list of potential project initiatives.
2. Elaboration of concepts of pilot projects for development of cultural and educational tourism for mid-term perspective.
- Selection of the priority variant of exploitation of Pskov Oblast cultural and historical heritage assets on the basis of comparative analysis of their economic efficiency.
- Preparation of a schedule for launching projects for development and elaboration of mechanisms intended to support development of cultural and educational tourism
