The 7th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum will be held on February 11-13, 2010 in Krasnoyarsk. The forum provides a platform for identification of milestones in regional and industrial policy, and steps to increase the competitiveness of national economy. A traditional participant of the forum, the Center for Strategic Research “North-West” in 2010 for the first time acts as a co-organizer of the event.
The forum is dedicated to the theme of “People, Ideas and Projects for Modernization”. At the end of 2009 the government presented the new economic agenda, strategic goals and main directions for improvement of the quality of economic growth and modernization.
What needs to be done to secure the new quality of economic growth and who would do it? Is there a generation in Russia able to implement the program for modernization of the country?
What are the values and aspirations of this social group? What steps does it plan to take and what does it expect from the government? Discussion of these issues will be held in the “business game” format.
